Leon Haworth

Hi, I’m Leon, a mysterious and slightly hairy guitar player that grew up in Hong Kong. My journey into music was started by my dad, also a guitar player who made sure that by the age of two I was already head banging to AC/DC. I 

remember being given my first vinyl album at the age of 12, it was 'Kill em All' by Metallica and it hit me like a big truck.. After seeing Metallica play in Hong Kong on their Hardwired tour (which was peak by the way), there was no turning back for me. 

After 20 years My biggest inspiration is still the young brothers Angus and

Malcom of AC/DC. Another significant player for me is Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest, hearing the solo to Electric Eye single handedly changed my whole world and how creative one can be on the instrument. In truth I love all guitar players 

regardless of their styles and respective genres, even that geezer Harrison 

Wallace. 

When people listen to an AZALEAS song, I want it to create the same joy and connection I experienced listening to Metallica for the first time. To create and perform music creates timeless memories and I absolutely live for it.
